Dalmatian Jasper isn’t jasper at all, it’s actually a mixture of igneous quartz and other minerals that give it the speckled look and thus is more aptly called Dalmatian Stone. The stone is said to invoke playfulness in those who interact with it, like their namesake, the Dalmatian dog. The black tourmaline spots in the stone encourage peaceful sleep by sucking up negative energy attached to nightmares.
