Sodalite isn’t actually classified as a rock or ‘stone’, but as a rock-forming tectosilicate mineral! This mineral was first discovered in 1811 in Greenland and became popular years later when massive high-grade amounts of it were found in Ontario, Canada. Sodalite is known as a guardian for those in battle and is helpful when organizing the mind! Sodalite generally comes in a deep blue and white color but can also be green, pink, yellow or purple. We use a few color species of sodalite here at SP, keep your eyes peeled for them!
