A ‘druzy’ is sets of tiny crystals, often resembling sugar, that form on the surface of another type of stone. In this case the base stone is agate and the druzy crystals are quartz. Agate, while common, varies widely in color and pattern and because of its porosity is susceptible to dye. These beads have been coated and finished with titanium, giving them their matte rainbow look. Its been said that druzy crystals induce creativity and relaxation!
